Pentagram: What Type Are You? →
These are my results:
Your type is Archer Hairline.
Designed by Jonathan Hoefler and Tobias Frere-Jones, Archer Hairline is a modern typeface with a straightforward appearance but one that has tiny outbreaks of elegance and tiny dots of emotion, only apparent on closer examination. If you are someone who is outwardly composed but will occasionally run into the bathroom for a quick laugh or...

Would who you were as a child like who you are...
I’m re-inspired.
Today, we had an all-staff meeting for STAR. I actually didn’t know that meant that all the staff of the different STAR schools in the LA area would be meeting under one auditorium until the day before. Katya Bozzi, the co-founder of the program, was the main speaker as she gave everyone a history of how STAR came to be as this was the non-profit’s 25th...

Food Network's The Big Waste
So I’ve been MIA from everything, but I wanted to write about this because it just seemed important. Is anyone else watching The Big Waste on Food Network? Basically, Bobby Flay, Michael Symon, Anne Burrell and Alex Guarnaschelli have to make dishes out of food that is about to be thrown away for various reasons while illuminating just how much food goes to waste each day.
It’s crazy!...

Day 22 - The Reason You Started Using Tumblr And...
The Reason I Started Tumblr:
I used to write in my Xanga (there’s a link on my tumblr if you want to check it out) consistently, ever since I made it on October 29, 2003 in my freshman year of high school. Whoah, that sounds really crazy now that I think about it. Almost ten years ago. Anyway, Once I got to college, I didn’t have as much time to update since I got hella active. I did...

Day 21 - Your Greatest Phobia and Your Most...
Most Irrational Phobias:
1. Spiders - Well, most bugs really. I just can’t stand that they are so small and have so many legs. I can’t kill bugs either, so I tend to freak out as I try to catch them in between a disposable cup and a piece of paper so that I can set them free outside.
2. Elevators - Okay, fine. This list is starting to look the same as last year, but how often do...

Day 19 - The First Wedding/Funeral You’ve Been To
I don’t remember either and last year, I made up an excuse that basically said nothing, so this year, I’ll talk about the last wedding and funeral I went to.
Last Wedding: It was actually last month. It was nice and I kind of liveblogged the events on twitter. Wedding started off kind of weird since there was this gap where all the sponsors had walked down the aisle already but there...

Day 17 - A Hobby Of Yours That Not Many People...
This whole working thing makes me too exhausted to keep up with this thing, but I have a day off tomorrow to recuperate. Well, not really, but let’s do a bit of catch up.
Anywayyy, last year, I talked about Photoshop and MS Paint from the good ol’ days when I had Photoshop and MS Paint. This year, here’s another hobby of mine that not many people may know about. I love playing...

Day 16 - Your Best Friends
Oh gosh, I feel like I should just copy and paste from last year. This is such a touchy topic for me and I don’t really like going into it. I don’t even know a better way to avoid talking more so I’ll just end here, haha.

Day 15 - Write 15 Interesting Facts About Yourself
This is a day late because I was all over the place yesterday and didn’t come back home until after midnight. And by then, I was exhausted. Anyway, three of these are repeats from last year, but then I decided that I should try and make an attempt at proving that I am interesting by adding more.
I have scars on my face, arm, waist, and leg from when I got bit by a dog when I was a baby in...

Day 14 - Your Day In Great Detail
Today, I woke up to my alarm at 7:15 AM and ended up snoozing until 8:30. After waking up, I did my daily rounds online by checking GMail, Facebook, and tumblr. Since there wasn’t too much new on any of those websites, I finally got out of bed to brush my teeth and shower using the sweetie pie shower gel that I bought from Rona at Lush. The reason I was waking up early was to prepare for my...
Kids
Whenever I work with kids, I always end up with two drastic emotions that alternate between sheer dread and terror at the fact that my hopes and dreams are being crushed to pieces by people half my age and heartening and cheerful at times when some of them show that they do care by paying attention. The hugs are nice too.
