'Ello there.
My name is Alvin-Christian (otherwise known as AC to family and Alvin to pretty much everyone else). I am Filipino, born a Virgo/Snake on September 11, 1989 in Santa Monica, CA and raised in Van Nuys, CA, reppin' the 818. I am part of the UCLA Class of 2011 with a B.A. in Global Studies and a minor in Education. For more info, just ask! :]

We’ve got a carload of Bruins heading back to UCLA tonight. Kason, Roger, Brian, and Alvin. We hope you make it home safe and sound. This one’s for you guys. Smokey Robinson and Cruisin’ on LA’s KOST 103.5.
Heck yes! Something to scratch off the bucket list! Radio shout out! That car ride back from SCPASA Summit was ridiculous, haha. We were all stuck in traffic because of an accident at LAX and KOST gave the number to ask for requests. I convinced KSan to call and she actually got through to Karen Sharp. After failing at trying to get her to play Maniac by Girlicious (“I know it might not be your genre…”), I think Karen suggested Journey after KSan told her we wanted a fun song to wait out the traffic. They had small talk about how we were going to UCLA and KSan gave Karen our names.
What Karen said on the radio totally did not do justice to the conversation she had with KSan. And I was trying to replicate it but decided I couldn’t do it justice either. Anyway, after the call, we hella waited for them to play Journey. Traffic cleared up and we were actually hoping for more traffic so that we could be together long enough to hear it. That didn’t work and eventually I dropped everyone off and went home.
Of course I had to listen to it from my laptop. When Karen mentioned a “carload of Bruins”, I realized what she was talking about and started recording. Dang, I missed the first part, but whatever. I got our names. Kason. Haha. And Karen Sharp hella paused before she said “Brian and Alvin”. I think it’s because she needed KSan to repeat it while they were on the phone together.
Anyway, I’m getting my fifteen minutes of fame all over the place lately. Marianne said she saw me and Hesed dancing (from the Giselle Tongi film shoot) on TFC and now this.
I’m on the road to stardom.
